About the Role
Digital Zone is a fast-growing digital payments and voucher platform, active in Iraq and expanding into Saudi Arabia and the UAE. We operate across gaming, telco, streaming, e-commerce, and live events and we’re building the marketing team to match our ambitions.
We’re looking for a Creative Lead who is first and foremost a video person , someone who can concept, brief, and oversee video production end-to-end, from short-form social content to full TVC campaigns. You’ll lead two in-house designers and manage relationships with external agencies, while actively embedding AI tools into the creative process to raise both the speed and quality of output.
What You’ll Do
Video & Production Leadership
- Lead video production from concept to delivery , short-form, mid-form, and TVC(with agency)
- Write and own video briefs for internal production and external agencies
- Direct short video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) aligned to campaign objectives
- Oversee art direction across all video and motion output
- Ensure consistency in visual storytelling across platforms and formats
Campaign Execution
- Translate campaign ideas from the marketing team into detailed creative briefs for video and graphic deliverables
- Collaborate on 360-degree campaigns - from TVC to performance ads to social assets
- Support TVC briefing for agency-led productions, with clear input on brand direction, tone, and KPIs
- Adapt global campaign creative for regional markets (Iraq, KSA, UAE)
Team & Agency Management
- Manage and develop two in-house designers (currently more static/graphic focused — you will complement and elevate the team with video)
- Brief, onboard, and manage external creative agencies
- Review and quality-check all creative output before sign-off
- Establish production workflows and review processes for the team
AI-Powered Production
- Actively integrate AI tools (e.g. generative video, AI voiceover, prompt-based image/video generation) into the team’s day-to-day production
- Identify opportunities to speed up production cycles and reduce agency dependency using AI tooling
- Help upskill the team on AI-assisted creative workflows
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- 7+ years in a creative role, with a strong portfolio weighted toward video
- Hands-on experience in video production , scripting, directing, or producing
- Experience briefing and working with TV/TVC campaigns
- Proven ability to brief and manage creative agencies
- Strong art direction skills across video and static formats
- Comfortable leading and mentoring a small team
- Working knowledge of AI tools in a creative production context
- Arabic speaker
- Iraq-based
- Motion graphics or editing skills (After Effects, Premiere, CapCut, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience in gaming, telco, fintech, or e-commerce categories
- Familiarity with markets (Iraq, KSA, UAE)
- Experience with performance ad creative , Meta, TikTok, YouTube
